I worked for 3 years in a busy hospital based OP neuro clinic. Our patients were very complex and although we were only scheduled with one patient at a time, appointments were only 45 minutes, with patients back to back. This left things feeling rushed and like patients were getting incomplete care. I was so unsatisfied getting to start someone, build a relationship, get excited about their recovery and our plan, only to have to put it on pause due to insurance limitations. These patients were extremely affected and needed far more care than what the traditional system could provide.
I began to wonder if they was a different way to do neuro rehab and after a couple years of consideration, I designed Novel Neuro Rehab. With longer session times, better communication in between sessions and adaptable programming, I am able to provide a level of care I am proud of. Its like home health, but outpatient neuro level care but from the comfort of your own home. I see better results, improved carry over and greater patient satisfaction. Our Services
Concierge, in home evaluations and follow ups so your program is tailored to what space and equipment you have available. We treat all neuro diagnoses. We believe the biggest barrier to rehab is accessibility. By tailoring everything to you and your home setup, you are able to participate in your neuro rehab more consistently and effectively, thus making more progress over time.
Digital exercise programming, messaging and virtual visits through the Recover Reel app. Traditional therapy gives you printed exercises that never get updated. With our app, you are able to access custom video programming, direct messaging with your therapist and more. Programming can be updated anytime between visits and you always have access to your PT for form correction, questions and concerns. One of the most important aspects of neuro rehab is consistency, and this allows us far more consistent care and contact than traditional services.
